Ashley and Paul got married at the awesome Neon Museum, AKA The Neon Boneyard in downtown Las Vegas. When they wanted some cool after-ceremony photos, naturally we had to scoot downtown to get some of the electric public Wall Art throughout DTLV.
These guys are so electric, they were so in love, that it’s as though walls just lit up and danced with color as they walked by. Did they? They did in my eyes.
To see if walls dance for you, all you gotta do is ask me to photograph your Las Vegas elopement or LV engagement or Las Vegas Wedding.
My reviews from past clients make me blush, they’re so good. Past clients talk about how much FUN we have, how great my lighting is, how much energy I have, how beautiful their photos are, and how well my wife Chris takes care of them from their first phone call until their gorgeous handcrafted album is delivered to their home.

Las Vegas hotels on The Strip (The Wynn, Encore, The Bellagio, The Venetian, Palazzo, Mandalay Bay, The Cosmopolitan, The Flamingo, Paris Las Vegas, New York New York, The Stratosphere, Planet Hollywood, The MGM, City Center, Aria, etc.) have a well-earned reputation for being very unfriendly to outside professional photography. Very.
Any professional photographer in Vegas who has tried to take their bride & groom or other clients into a Strip hotel while using off-camera professional lighting can tell you about the Vegas Shuffle, where security approaches within a minute to throw you out. While being tossed is a little embarrassing and inconvenient, it could be much worse.
I understand their position completely. They are private businesses each with extraordinary investment in interior design that they’d like to control, and they have in-house photography franchises that have first dibs on all professional photography within the hotel.
So how did I arrange for this gorgeous couple to get professionally lit professional photography inside The Wynn?
The groom did.
Joseph – who bought out the back of one of The Wynn’s restaurants for their reception – made it happen. While I don’t know all the details, I do know that he made repeated attempts over a period of weeks, made many many calls, was told by people without authority that he had approval when in fact he did not have actual permission until about one hour before we took these photos.Read More
I never get tired of telling and showing people why getting married at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, NV is such a smart move. It’s only 15 minutes from The Strip. They can accommodate the most intimate wedding of 2 people, all the way to the grandest gala of hundreds and hundreds. It’s relaxing and comfortable. I’ve seen their on-location coordinators and planners put together such incredible events that it is very unlikely you’ll need an outside planner. And can you believe there is a venue in the middle of the Mojave Desert that is this green, this lush, this soft?
Congratulations to Lindsay and Ed – more photos coming soon! It was my sincere honor to document your wedding!
