Chris and I consider ourselves lucky to have found not just a great new dentist in Las Vegas – Dee for Dentist – but wonderful people we consider to be friends. Mike and Dee Dee run a very bright, hip, quality dental practice over on Maryland & Pebble. When they asked us to do an employee group photo, and then individual headshots, I immediately thought that we should go bright and hi-key, because that’s what it feels like being in their practice and around them as they work. And Mike wanted to do sort of a film-strip photo-booth series of goofy headshots for everyone, and so we did. Here’s just a few samples. As you know, we also do more buttoned-down, low-key headshots for those in need of that look.
I am privileged any time the folks at my favorite Las Vegas charity – Opportunity Village – ask me to document their annual fundraising event, Camelot. This last week was my 3rd or 4th time in the 5 years we’ve lived in Vegas. I love shooting Las Vegas event photography anyway, but it is even more enjoyable when I am documenting for a truly uplifiting group, an exceptionally well run charity that has positive impact on the daily lives of hundreds of intellectually and developmentally disabled adults who, in another place and time, might be throw away people. I am grateful for the existence of Opportunity Village, and for the uncountable hours of all the staff and volunteers and donors who make it possible.Penn and Emily are a little verklempt while watching a video showing their works for Opportunity Village.Penn tearing up a little seeing a video of all the awesome stuff he does for Opportunity Village. Thinking of getting married in Las Vegas at a chapel or Hotel but you want some amazing personalized Las Vegas Wedding and Elopement photos down at Nelson Ghost Town or somewhere else in Vegas? Well let’s do a photo session immediately following your wedding. We met this amazing couple down at Nelson Ghost Town (also known as Eldorado Canyon and Techatticup Mine) right after they’d gotten married in Las Vegas. These guys first found us Googling from Brazil, and we hit it off on our Skype call. A few emails later and all the details were set.
From the moment Fabiana and Andre (and their buddies from Brazil) arrived we were having fun and making pretty. We LOVE when clients who appreciate great photography seek out and find us. It’s always a great fit.
Two gorgeous families joined tonight at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa, a venue so perfect for wedding photography that it is even beautiful in the pitch dark, which is when this wedding ceremony took place. Every body was happy and generous and kind. I love this wedding, these families, these photos, this venue, and I hope you do too.
