Vegas Wedding Photography Green Valley Ranch with Jacqueline and Ulbaldo

June 12, 2015 | By | No Comments

Hoo boy, these guys and their big beautiful fun families were just so easy and nice to photograph. The fact that they chose Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, which is just a 15 minute shuttle ride from the Las Vegas Strip, and which is one of the most lush, green, wonderfully landscaped locations in Las Vegas, just made it all the more beautiful and awesome.

You see how much smiling is going on? How happy these guys are? Is it fair that I get paid to be around this all the time? Not really. But I thank the Lord and my lucky stars every time it happens.

Thank you to Jacqueline and Ulbaldo for inviting me to record your perfect little Vegas wedding celebration at the Green Valley Ranch!

Historic Fifth Street School Las Vegas Wedding of Anjetta and Patrick – FUN

June 9, 2015 | By | 2 Comments

Anjetta and Patrick are such best friends. You can see it in every photo. These guys started the day out rowdy and fun and it only got more fun and more huggy as the evening progressed. I loved recording  their soulful, beautiful ceremony in front of so many friends and family from around the world at the Historic Fifth Street School in downtown Las Vegas. These two know themselves and one another really well and – in front of the world – they fully acknowledged and accepted each other as they are. Their vows were some of the most moving and eloquent I’ve ever heard.

Even though the lighting conditions were pretty challenging – late-afternoon, hard stabby sun through blotchy tree leaves – we totally made it work, with a combination of moving subjects into shade, shooting inside and using off-camera light.

Big thanks to my wife Chris and Shabazz for excellence assisting.

Clark County Wetlands Las Vegas Elopement Photography with Cabi and Justin

June 5, 2015 | By | 3 Comments

I never get tired of beautiful, happy, smart people finding us and inviting us to document the afterglow immediately following their Las Vegas Chapel Wedding. These two graduate-level chemists met us out at the Clark County Wetlands Park immediately following their ceremony, and they were just so happy, and smiling and in-love with their brand new commitment. After a number of phone calls between my wife Chris and Cabi, they had decided on the Wetlands because Cabi and Justin wanted green, because it’s close, and because – so far – it’s hassle free.

I’m feeling like we totally got the green. I know we got the love and the afterglow. And I got another day doing the important and ever challenging work of documenting new love. Thank you Cabi and Justin! More photos coming soon!

Big thanks to my wife Chris and to Shabazz for assisting so ably.

Las Vegas Strip Wedding Photography Caesars Bellagio Ashley and Nick

May 25, 2015 | By | No Comments

We feel so lucky when such fine, fun people as Ashley and Nick find us out on that Internet thing and trust us to document the unrepeatable moments immediately following their chapel wedding. These guys had just flown in from Denver and gotten married when we met them in front of Caesars Palace. We ventured out on the Las Vegas Strip with no particular plan other than to make pretty and have fun. We made it all the way to the Bellagio Fountain then looped back to Caesars. Even though they were exhausted they soldiered on, looking like Princess and Prince on their first night of marriage. We are truly honored to serve great folks like Ashley and Nick. Giant congratulations to you guys!!!

Big thanks to the Mrs (Chris Fogarty) and the eager hard working Shabazz for assisting!

Neon Boneyard Wedding Photography and DTLV Downtown Las Vegas Fremont Street Elopement of Ashley and Paul

May 25, 2015 | By | No Comments

Couples don’t get much cooler, better looking, and just downright nice than Ashley and Paul. They got married in the historic Neon Boneyard Museum among close family and friends. And then we bopped right over to DTLV downtown las vegas, the East Fremont area of Old Vegas that’s in the midst of a renaissance and flowering of street art, graffiti, music, great restaurants, and overall historic Vegas good stuff. The fact that this former military couple – both US Air Force Veterans – got married the day before Memorial Day is just a cherry on top of an outstanding, excellent, gorgeous day of beauty and memories.

Big ups to my assistants, the lovely Mrs Fogarty my wife Chris, and my young eager assistant Shabazz. Thank you guys!
