Corporate & Casual Headshots On Location – Las Vegas

December 27, 2016 | By | One Comment

las-vegas-headshots-corporate-conference-the-wynnAre you bringing a lot of your people to your Las Vegas Convention, for training, or celebration, or recognition? What a perfect time to get high-quality headshots for all of your key people, while you’ve got them all in the same place. Or what a great way to reward your contractors or members who are out in the trenches with the opportunity to get a top-notch headshot for their website, their Linked-In profile, or other social media avatars like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

We come to your location, to the hotel where your conference is being held, where we set up studio lighting in a surprisingly small space – we need about 8 feet wide by about 10 feet deep.

You decide on your preferred style of headshot: high-key, low-key, or environmental.

We can set up as many bays as necessary to comfortably accommodate as many people as you want. Figure on about 75 – 100 people‘s headshots created per photo bay in a non-stop, all-day scheduled approach. Fewer per bay in a less structured format (e.g., people popping in at their convenience).

We produce between 5 and 15 photos per person in about 3.5 minutes, assuring we’ve gotten your guests’ best side, best look, best expression.

We can even live-stream the photos as they are being made to tablets and iPads where people can select their favorite right after it is created, streamlining the post-processing edit. All photos are lightly edited before upload. Advanced professional re-touching is an available add-on.

Want to get really good headshots for 400 people over the course of your Las Vegas Convention? We can do that.

Payment can be structured many different ways.

You can pre-pay for a certain number of your clients / employees to get their professional headshot with us. They just need to show up and we’ll take care of the rest.

Or you can pre-pay and ask your guests to pay a small fee to download from your online gallery like this.

You can pre-pay for professional re-touching for everyone, or make that an option for your guests to select from the online gallery.

High quality. High speed. At your event. What’s not to love!?

Las Vegas Food Photography – Pizza Company – Pizza and Vegan Dishes

November 8, 2016 | By | No Comments

This little pizza place on Sunset across the street from the Airport serves up scrumptious pizza. But I didn’t realize that it’s also well known and well respected by Vegans, because of all the yummy Vegan dishes it serves. Vegan Tiramisu? Yes. Mmmm.

Portrait Photography for New Website & Book Cover

October 25, 2016 | By | No Comments

Dan just rolled out a new website and released a new book, and he needed some current portrait work to keep everything fresh. Dan was able to secure permission to shoot in a not-yet-complete condominium project. We spent a couple of hours moving around the space, and shooting against the white backdrop I brought with. Dan is a great guy with a great brand. It was truly a pleasure to collaborate on this fun photo shoot with him.

I’m really looking forward to photographing his wife Jannette on a similar project as she rolls out her educational consultancy practice.

Brothers Wayne Huang and Matt Huang at Black Hat Def Con photo Tour Valley of Fire and Nelson

August 6, 2015 | By | No Comments

Two brilliant and successful brothers, Wayne Huang and Matt Huang, are visiting Vegas for the Black Hat / Def Con security conference. They wanted magazine-quality photography documenting their day walking around Valley of Fire and the Vegas desert.

We love doing that!!!

All that’s missing from these portraits is an album cover or book to put ’em on. LOL These guys are such high-octane performers that I won’t be surprised to see them produce one or both.

While walking around we discussed everything under the sun, including when Artificial Intelligence takes over, the Taiwan – China conflict, cyber hacking by national militaries, why so many guns in America, the early history of the publicly-available Internet and the emergence & evolution of Messaging Service Providers (MSPs) then Application Service Providers (ASPs) to what is now called “the Cloud”, how Sun Yat-sen is like China’s Martin Luther King or Ghandi, why it’s smart for a Chinese man to take very good care of his wife’s parents, how self-driving automobiles are going to transform cities (no parking garages, no parking spaces, most won’t need to own a car, ability to work while being driven increasing productivity, etc).

It was a long, hot, deeply interesting and engaging day with two great guys.

Big THANK YOUS to Shabazz and to my son Mason for outstanding assisting.

Corporate Event After Party Photography – Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

April 28, 2015 | By | No Comments

After a long week of sales meetings and learning about new products and such, sometimes you just want to unwind. These ladies, and some guys, several thousand who assembled in Vegas for their annual corporate event, had an end-of-conference pool party that was pretty awesome. From their enthusiasm and energy I just know they felt satisfied and pumped up for another year of excellence. Big thanks to my friend Jamey Kirkland, owner of The View Finders, for inviting me to shoot this Las Vegas Corporate Event photography, and for permission to post these photos.

April 23, 2015 | By | No Comments

Are you into video games? Have you ever wondered who coded Tetris? And Pong? Or who wrote MIDDLE EARTH – SHADOW OF MORDOR?

Or do you need First Rate photography documenting your Las Vegas Destination Event?

Please enjoy this very small sample of las vegas event photography of the recent DICE Summit held at the Hard Rock Cafe just off the Las Vegas Strip. Video game legends like Alexey Pajitnov (Tetris) and Michael de Plater (MIDDLE EARTH), and Tom Kalinske (SEGA Genesis) keynoted and participated on panel discussions. I even got to meet and photograph Allan Alcorn, the father of PONG!

Big thanks to my friend and fellow photographer Laura Glines, owner of Black Cherry Photography in Denver, who invited me to help her create quality event photography of this exciting Las Vegas conference.
