Engagements

Las Vegas Engagement photography

What’s with Canadians? They’re so freaking NICE! We love these guys! Congratulations to Lisa and Darren!

February 9, 2016 | By | No Comments

These guys had been planning their wedding for many years, checking out venue after venue. Nothing really clicked. So they eloped to Vegas. I think that’s smart! And we are honored to have been chosen based on the quality of the photos they saw in our portfolio. We had no idea these guys would be so incredibly NICE and graceful and GREAT in front of the camera. Most of the time they were so busy giving each other google eyes and drinking in the gravity of the situation that they didn’t have time to be nervous. To make the occasion extra awesome Lisa’s Dad and stepmom flew in and surprised them when Lisa and Darren stepped into their limo. How cool!

We really could not have asked for a more perfect couple to work with. We can’t wait to finish editing all the photos from their wonderful day.

The Neon Boneyard at Sunset is The Best

October 31, 2015 | By | No Comments

I’ve photographed so many weddings and so many engagements at the world famous Las Vegas Neon Museum I can’t even count. And I’ve loved them all. It’s always beautiful and fun. But I must say that those lucky couples who schedule their sessions right around sunset – especially in the larger boneyard – get the sweetspot.

While everywhere outdoors looks better at the Blue Hour, the Neon Museum is just perfect. They light up the signs, the sky is just right, and matched to my studio off-camera lighting, everything comes together.

These guys looked so good and were having so much fun they’d have looked amazing anywhere. But I think we found the highnote and it all came together at sunset at the Las Vegas Neon Boneyard.

Afterwards we mozied on down to DTLV downtown Las Vegas, which is ridiculously close. Seems every time I’m down there the street art graffiti is updated and new, bars and restaurants I’ve never seen before have popped up, and always folks are so welcoming down there.

Congratulations to Celeste and Brandon on their Las Vegas engagement!

I’ve Seen Las Vegas Downtown Public Art DANCE

July 15, 2015 | By | No Comments

DTLV, Downtown Las Vegas, Wall Art, Public Art, Las Vegas Elopement Photography, Las Vegas Wedding PhotographyAshley and Paul got married at the awesome Neon Museum, AKA The Neon Boneyard in downtown Las Vegas. When they wanted some cool after-ceremony photos, naturally we had to scoot downtown to get some of the electric public Wall Art throughout DTLV.

These guys are so electric, they were so in love, that it’s as though walls just lit up and danced with color as they walked by. Did they? They did in my eyes.

To see if walls dance for you, all you gotta do is ask me to photograph your Las Vegas elopement or LV engagement or Las Vegas Wedding.

My reviews from past clients make me blush, they’re so good. Past clients talk about how much FUN we have, how great my lighting is, how much energy I have, how beautiful their photos are, and how well my wife Chris takes care of them from their first phone call until their gorgeous handcrafted album is delivered to their home.

Clark County Wetlands Las Vegas Elopement Photography with Cabi and Justin

June 5, 2015 | By | 3 Comments

I never get tired of beautiful, happy, smart people finding us and inviting us to document the afterglow immediately following their Las Vegas Chapel Wedding. These two graduate-level chemists met us out at the Clark County Wetlands Park immediately following their ceremony, and they were just so happy, and smiling and in-love with their brand new commitment. After a number of phone calls between my wife Chris and Cabi, they had decided on the Wetlands because Cabi and Justin wanted green, because it’s close, and because – so far – it’s hassle free.

I’m feeling like we totally got the green. I know we got the love and the afterglow. And I got another day doing the important and ever challenging work of documenting new love. Thank you Cabi and Justin! More photos coming soon!

Big thanks to my wife Chris and to Shabazz for assisting so ably.

Neon Boneyard Wedding Photography and DTLV Downtown Las Vegas Fremont Street Elopement of Ashley and Paul

May 25, 2015 | By | No Comments

Couples don’t get much cooler, better looking, and just downright nice than Ashley and Paul. They got married in the historic Neon Boneyard Museum among close family and friends. And then we bopped right over to DTLV downtown las vegas, the East Fremont area of Old Vegas that’s in the midst of a renaissance and flowering of street art, graffiti, music, great restaurants, and overall historic Vegas good stuff. The fact that this former military couple – both US Air Force Veterans – got married the day before Memorial Day is just a cherry on top of an outstanding, excellent, gorgeous day of beauty and memories.

Big ups to my assistants, the lovely Mrs Fogarty my wife Chris, and my young eager assistant Shabazz. Thank you guys!

Vegas Engagement Session at Town Square and In-Studio

May 9, 2015 | By | No Comments

Can you tell that this Vegas Engagement photo session at Town Square (and in-studio) just ROCKED? Devin and Lee are getting married this summer at The Smith Center in Las Vegas, and they wanted to get some gorgeous engagement portraits for announcements, and to line the video display screens at The Smith Center. How cool is that gonna be as guests file from the outdoor atrium into the lobby of The Smith Center walking past this beautiful engagement photo session.

When a couple looks this good, is having this much fun, is this comfortable with one another, and loves the camera this much, photographers enter a golden zone, where every shot is web-worthy, every click is better than the one before, where awesome just can’t help itself from inhabiting every pixel.
